ORIGAMI
WORKSHOP
ORIGAMI, a traditional Japanese art that began in the Middle Ages, consists of a varied number of folds that, combined in different ways, transform a simple piece of paper into almost anything you can think of. The Japanese word ORIGAMI is made up of 2 characters - ORI, which means folding, and KAMI, which means paper.
And what better way to unite our cultures?

JAPANESE SAKES
Concerned about innovating the experience we offer at Viseu Ryokan, we have been specializing our offer of what is the Japanese alcoholic drink, Nihonshu (日本酒), commonly known as Japanese Sake. 🍶
Wrongly confused with Chinese sake (a very alcoholic drink), Japanese Sake is a drink produced from 3 main ingredients: rice, water and kōji, with alcohol content normally between 13 and 16%.
Sake can therefore be drunk with a meal, a snack or served as a digestive, and can be drunk chilled, natural or heated, depending on the type of sake and personal taste. In addition to a wide range of sakes, we also have refreshing plum and yuzu sakes. Are you curious? Come and try this drink and its rituals!
